Workhorse Bakery is a cottage bakery in Baltimore, Maryland.
All of the baked goods at Workhorse Bakery are made using seasonal, sometimes foraged, and locally sourced ingredients when possible.
All items are made in a home kitchen shared with potential contamination of common allergens.
No cake has a set design. I do not work with fondant or do themed/character cakes. I do not offer gluten free or vegan cakes.
Each bake is one-of-a-kind & decorated using fresh and seasonal florals sourced at the time of your order and in an organic fashion. I’m happy to chat with you on color preferences, florals, and produce that are in season.

I bake in small quantities and generally offer pick ups Wednesday-Saturday.
The menu changes all the time, based on the produce in season and whatever I’m interested in offering at the time. I’m always happy to consult on flavor combinations or what produce is at it’s best!
Deliveries are only offered for weddings & large parties (50+ servings) within a reasonable distance of the Baltimore area for an additional fee.
All cake orders are confirmed once paid in full.
