Each week we make a small menu of layered cakes and rotating desserts — recipes rooted in classic technique but meant to be enjoyed casually, in big slices and with good company.
The Saturday Box
Each week we put together a small collection of bakes inspired by the season — sometimes fruit-forward, sometimes chocolatey, sometimes something we’ve been wanting to test in the kitchen.
The menu changes often and quantities are limited. Preorders open Tuesday and close when we sellout.
Pick up Saturday morning, 8-10am, and enjoy the weekend.


The Weekend Cake
The Weekend Cakes are available for preorder in limited quantities each week. They’re for birthdays, dinners, and last-minute celebrations!

Finished in our signature unfussy style & adorned with florals —these cakes are meant to be sliced generously and shared among pals.
Orders open on Tuesday and pick ups are on Saturday morning, 8-10am.
Weddings & Events
We bake cakes for weddings, gatherings, and celebrations where the food actually matters.
Our event cakes follow the same approach as everything else at Workhorse — seasonal flavors, made from scratch, and finished with swirls of buttercream and florals.
